Scottish Masters Info

This is Recoil Scotland's UKPSA, annual IPSC Level 3 shotgun match. 

We are lucky to have a wonderful range crew and help from some really experienced stage builders. Yes, some of them may speak Scottish; translators are available upon request.

This is shot in one day and consists of 14 stages.

SquadING 

Squadding for the match will open on 1st January, 2026. The pre match is for range crew only. Please note there will be 6 squads on Saturday and 12 on Sunday.

Overseas Participants

You wiill require a British Visitor’s Permit to enter the UK with the shotguns you wish to use in the match. This permit is £47 and must be paid before Recoil Scotland applies for the permit. Overseas applications after 31st March cannot be accepted.

Range Officials

Range Officers will receive a free entry to the match. £50 UKPSA payment for each day worked. Food and drink on the days that you work the match.

Accommodation 

We are recommending the Dakota Hotel 

for all participants. The hotel is less than 15 minutes from the range and close to the M8 Motorway.

Friday May 22, bed & breakfast

£120 single occupancy / £139 double occupancy

Saturday May 23, bed & breakfast

£135 single occupancy / £154 double occupancy

Sunday May 24, bed & breakfast

£105 single occupancy / £124 double occupancy

Second…Dakota operates a loyalty scheme called ‘Insider’. This scheme offers slightly better rates (but they are variable so can be found online at the time you enquire) and involves joining the hotel loyalty programme. It only takes a few minutes but does offer further reduced rates for signing up to marketing etc.
